The ACT Review & The SAT/PSAT Review
This ACT & SAT/PSAT Review course will be held on February 1 & 8 from 10:00 to 4:00 at Capital University, Troutman Hall, room 112.
Students can choose to do both ACT & SAT/PSAT prep by opting to have a working lunch or they can choose to focus on either the ACT or SAT/PSAT according to the schedule below.
Day 1 & 2:
- 10:00-1:00: ACT/SAT/PSAT Content: all students (w/break)
- 1:00-1:30: ACT-only Content: all students can stay or
SAT/PSAT students can take lunch in lounge - 1:30-1:50: SAT/PSAT-only Content: all students can stay or
ACT students can take lunch in lounge. - 1:50-2:00: All students break
- 2:00-4:00: ACT/SAT/PSAT Content: all students (w/break)
- 4:00-4:30: Day 2 only - Optional ACT Science
For Day 1 & 2, students should bring:
- Pen/pencils
- Paper
- Calculator
- Food & drink (Students will not have time to leave campus)
- Layered clothing (The professor cannot adjust temperature)
- Day 2: bring all materials from Day 1
Students will receive our proprietary ACT/SAT/PSAT Test Prep book that reviews each of the ACT/SAT/PSAT subject areas, including the optional ACT science and writing. The book content broken done by test (ACT/SAT/PSAT, ACT-Only, SAT-Only, PSAT-Only), so students can focus on one test or all three tests (The majority of the content is tested on all 3 tests).
Students will also receive memorization sheets and worksheets. The worksheets are specifically designed to allow students to easily identify their strengths and weaknesses, so they can prioritize the book content according to their content weaknesses. The book not only has content review, examples, and explanations, but it also has over 1,400 drills for students to work with detailed answers. After Day 2, students will receive an email with links to practice tests.
Approximately one week prior to the beginning of the course, you will receive a reminder email with instructions and directions for parking and locating the classroom.
